Climbing Mountain, Beware of Hypoxia

Hypoxia become challenge for mountain climbers. People who climb mountain will feel shortness of breath because of lack of oxygen at high altitudes, so that the body will lack of oxygen intake. However, hypoxia could also arise because there are problems in the body. Lack of oxygen supply can inhibit the forwarding of oxygen to various organs via the blood.


Meanwhile, hypoxia also be experienced by people who have disorders in their respiratory and cardiovascular systems. The body can not respond to oxygen demand in a balanced way. Finally, there is little oxygen can be absorbed.

Patients experiencing hypoxia often found bleeding in the stomach. Ulcers organ in gastric impaired. Usually, people who are not native in highlands, can have this problem because the body wasn't able to adapt.

Therefore, make sure your body in good shape when you plan to go to the mountain. Because the body is tired, lack of rest, and do a lot of strenuous activity can lead to hypoxia more quickly. If necessary, bring a small oxygen tank could be an alternative first aid as a sign of hypoxia occurs.

Whatever the circumstances, try to get oxygen flowing smoothly in your body. For home, good ventilation is good for the air exchange. Avoid cigarette smoke or vehicle that makes shortness of breath.
