Common Signs of Heart Attack

Heart attacks strike without warning. It can happen when you sleep, work, or even exercising. Even it can't not be said that slim people is safer than fat people from heart attacks. But, the fact showed that obese people have higher probability of having a heart attack.

Cause of heart attack can be vary. Cholesterol in coronary arteries is the most common cause of heart attack case. High blood pressure also trigger this problem. So, pay attention to cholesterol levels and keep blood pressure to be some prevention of heart problems. In addition, the need to keep our mind free from stress.



If you want to know how healthy is your heart, you need to run a series of tests. For example, stress test, lipid profile, annual check-up, ECG, blood sugar, and treadmill. This test can measure how strong your heart and predict the potential exposure of heart attack.

Sometimes a heart attack show certain signs. If you find these signs in your body, immediately contact your local health care providers to check your heart.

  • Chest discomfortHeart attacks are usually marked by different feelings in the chest. You will feel discomfort that can occur a few minutes in the middle of the chest. Sometime that feel could go, or even back again. This is a common sign.
  • Discomfort in your upper body
    Discomfort is also spreading to other body parts. For example, in one or both arms, back, neck, jaw, or stomach. You may also feel pain in it.
  • Shortness of breath
    You will feel shortness of breath and usually accompanied by discomfort feeling in chest.
  • Another sign that usually appeared are cold sweat, nausea, or dizziness.
