Vegetables and Fruits that cause Flatulence

After lunch with your boss, you can not concentrate on meeting that afternoon. Your stomach feels full of gas that make them feel uncomfortable. Sitting so long in the meeting room feels like torture, and you were try so hard so the stomach gas will not come out and ruin the atmosphere of the meeting. Uugh .. so embarrassing!

When you remember a plate of broccoli lunch menu  become suspect why you have flatulence (bloating stomach) at the meeting that afternoon. Having a diet and do not intend to be sleepy in the meeting, you decide to eat stir-fried vegetables, but who knows it cause your stomach bloating.




Some fruits and vegetables can produce excess gas in the stomach. This effect depends on the circumstances of each person, they are not used to eating vegetables is usually easier bloating. Similarly, those who have problems with stomach, certain foods can make the excess gas when digested. Here are some fruits and vegetables are known as flatulence culprit according to NIH and Mayo Clinic.

Inflorescent Vegetable
Cauliflower, broccoli, artichokes and asparagus are examples of this type of vegetables. Various kinds of cabbage, including cabbage and brussels sprouts mini generally produce excessive gas if not cooked long enough.

Legumes
Beans and peas are two types of beans are most often used as vegetable. Beans have elongated shapes and straight, while peas have flat and short shape. Both also cause flatulence if not cooked properly.

Fruits high in sugar sorbitol
Several fruit can cause a problem in your stomach.  Sweet fruit usually can cause flatulence, such as apple, pear and plum.
